License to Use Documents

The drawings and documents are copyrighted by Escape Artists LLC.  Upon purchase, the purchaser will be issued a limited license to use. Please see the licensing agreement that will be signed at checkout. Drawings and Documents will be issued digitally in the purchaser’s name. They are licensed for a one time single use.  Additional use will be a violation of the copyright and the licensing agreement.  Not only is non-licensed use completely uncool, it will be subject to legal action.

Limitations

Escape Plans are Global.  Construction is local.  Nature and climate vary greatly from place to place.  The purchaser's specific wind loading, snow loading, seismic loading, geo-technical and environmental requirements cannot possibly be known by the elves working at Escape Artists.  The structural and engineering requirements of such things are local and specific.  In purchasing these fine designs, the purchaser is accepting the responsibility to make sure that their Escape Building takes all these factors into careful, professional consideration.  Specifically, the purchaser is responsible to meet all the structural and legal requirements of their construction location and circumstances.  Local engineering review and support are strongly advised.  A Full Set is a set of 35 to 40 drawings that includes all the information in the Schematic Set PLUS information on how things go together, proper and advanced techniques of optimal construction (to build a truly legacy structure), building detailing, site element details, interior elevations and detailing, reflected ceiling plan and a lighting plan.  A full set of 'General Standards' is also included.  These are the resources, means and material that we at Escape Artists would use on our own construction.
