Our Schematic Set is a short set of drawings for inspiration and exploration. Our Full Set is a comprehensive view of what it takes to make your ultimate Escape.
Think of the Schematic Set as a bowl of the best Gelato that you ever had. Think of the Full Set as your friend Luigi’s great grandmother’s secret recipe for her award-winning Cappuccino Gelato.
Schematic Drawings
The Schematic Set of drawings shows the form, size and mass of the building and communicates the full emotional vision of what the house could be.
Our Schematic Set of Drawings is a set of ten to twelve drawings and images that will not only inspire your Escape, but are intended to be used to explore the feasibility of your project, get preliminary cost information and start you on your way to complying with your local codes and requirements. Some contractors or DIY experts will feel very confident in creating a building from these drawings.
Because every building is different, so are our Schematic Sets. In all cases, the Schematic Set for your Escape will include Plans, Elevations and Sections sufficient enough for you and your builder to understand the form, space and mass of the building, its general make-up and some ideas of your future materiality decisions. Also included are some color options so that you can personalize and create a one-of-a-kind Escape.
Full Drawings
The Full Set of Drawings includes the entire schematic plus three times the information on making the perfect Escape!
Our Full Set is a set of 35 to 40 drawings that includes all the information in the Schematic Set PLUS information on how things go together, proper and advanced techniques of optimal construction, building detailing, site element details, interior elevations and detailing, reflected ceiling plan and a lighting plan. A full set of 'General Standards' is also included. The Full Set includes all the resources and material to create a truly Legacy Structure. It is what we at Escape Artists would use for our own construction.

If you can't decide which set is right for you, don't stress. Purchase the Schematic Set and if you want to upgrade to the Full Set, let us know within the first year of purchase and we will send you the Full Set at the current cost difference.

Whether you prefer the simplicity and flexibility of a Schematic Set or the greater comprehension of a Full Set, there are some things that are not included with either. Our designs meet general standards, but all construction is ultimately local. The landscape, laws and climate vary from place to place. A bunch of Escape Artists cannot possibly know the specifics of your circumstance. In purchasing these fine designs, the purchaser is accepting the responsibility to make sure that their Escape Building takes all the local factors into careful consideration.
